Thomas Gilcrease was a Muscogee-American oilman, art collector, and philanthropist who amassed the nation’s most comprehensive collection of art of the American West, including the only surviving certified copy of the Declaration of Independence.

Pretty Boy Floyd & George Birdwell robbed this bank in April 1932. Wiley Post led an aerial posse during the manhunt.
